Terms And Conditions

Welcome to Dream Valley Destination. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our services. “We”, “us”, “our”, “the company” refers to Dream Valley Destination.  “You”, “user”, “customer”, “clients”, refers to the individual using our services.

1. GENERAL

Once you (as a customer) book any tour package with Dream Valley Destination your booking contract is made with Dream Valley Pte Ltd, a licensed travel agent and Singapore-registered corporation. Any holiday booked with us is covered & governed by Singapore law. We process all personal information in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act of 2012.

a: By making a reservation for a package tour identified at Dream Valley Destination website, you are deemed to have read, understood, and accepted the Terms and Conditions set forth below. You are solely responsible for ensuring that you have read and understand these Terms and Conditions before making a reservation for a Package Tour with us.

b: The details of your Tour Package will be included in the applicable tour itinerary. The Itinerary will be assumed to be part of these Terms and Conditions once we have issued it to you, unless otherwise stated in the Itinerary. If there is a conflict between the terms of the Itinerary and these Terms and Conditions, the terms of these Terms and Conditions take precedence.

2. BOOKING AND PAYMENT PROCEDURES

To book a holiday with us, please visit our website or phone us or email us for a quotation. Once you are satisfied with the quotation you should reply us an email to confirm your booking with the non-refundable deposit (see point 2 a). A service is chargeable for all bookings. We shall honor the price specified in your written quotation until the proposal’s expiry date. The company is under no duty to provide a breakdown of the costs associated with a holiday, and all quotations are subject to availability and changes in circumstances.

a: All bookings are subject to availability and to proceed with a booking, please read the detail itinerary which send you over the mail with terms & conditions.  To start the booking process or hold any tentative reservations on a confirmed basis you will have to deposit a 50% of the total booking amount. Depending on the length of your trip and the payment procedures imposed by our suppliers, we will advise you at the time of booking if we need to collect a larger deposit and the foreign airfare if you are arranging it through us. The deposit will be used as part payment for the holiday. It is strongly advised that you obtain enough travel insurance for your holiday from the time of booking.

b: If we are unable to confirm all arrangements, we will discuss alternatives and re-quote as needed. If the option becomes significantly changed, you will be given an alternative or a complete refund with no cancellation fees.

Note: We reserve the right to refund your deposit and refuse to issue a booking confirmation at our sole discretion. We retain the right to adjust the charged deposit. We may also, at our sole and absolute discretion, charge a different Deposit from customer to customer and/or Package Tour to Package Tour.

c: Any costs and/or expenditures not specifically referred to in any or all of the accompanying documents shall not be included in the price of the Tour Package, and such fees and/or expenses shall be charged to and completely payable by you directly. These are the following expenses if not mentioned in the itinerary inclusions.

  • International airfare is not included in our package pricing and will be priced individually if requested.
  • Laundry fee services, excess baggage charges, beverages, room service, and other miscellaneous fees which may be chargeable by hoteliers.
  • Gratuities to drivers, tour leaders and/or local guides, safari guide and tips to hotel porters.
  • Taxes, duties, or levies imposed by any governmental or regulatory authority.
  • Travel and medical insurance.
  • Any monuments charges.
  • Emergency evacuation of any kind.
  • Meals other than stated in itinerary.
  • Early check-in or late check-out.
  • Expenses of personal nature etc.
  • Any fee or cost which is not included in the detailed itinerary.

d: After receiving the deposit, we will send you a written confirmation, this will create a binding contract between you and us. Once we have confirmed all aspects of your holiday booking, which may take some time, we will send you a confirmation invoice with the remainder payment details. You are responsible for paying all bank charges for bank transfers (if there are any). Failure to do so may result in rebilling. Prices are subject to change without prior notice but confirmed bookings will not be affected.

e: Payment methods include cheque payment, credit card, PayNow, PayLah, cash and bank transfer to Dream Valley Pte Ltd corporate bank account

3. ACCOMODATIONS

For group tour packages the company will arrange for accommodation with another traveler of the same gender. If the requested or booked accommodation is not available, every attempt will be taken to find an alternative of comparable quality. If the perceived or actual worth of the proposed alternative does not meet the same criteria as the original, travelers will be unable to seek value compensation from the company. Any additional costs spent during the arrangement of any unique requests will be met by the traveler. Single supplement rates apply to travelers wanting a room for themselves and are based on availability and first-come, first-served basis.

4. ACCURACY

We strive to provide accurate information and prices on our website and advertising materials. However, errors and modifications may occur, and we reserve the right to correct prices and other facts as needed. Before booking with us, you must check the current price and other specifics of the arrangements.

5. TOUR ALTERATIONS AND CHANGES

If you need to change the dates or other details of your booking after confirmation, please contact us. We will do our best to accommodate your request, but we cannot guarantee it.

a: The lead person must provide written notification of any changes. We retain the right to charge a 2% administration fee for modifications to your holiday booking. If we can make the required adjustments, we will supply you with an estimate cost that includes both our and our suppliers’ expenses. If we are unable to help you and you don’t want to proceed with the original booking, it will be treated as a cancellation by you.

b: We strive to stick to the original itinerary conveyed over the confirmation mail. However, after the commencement of the tour if any deviation/changes to the itinerary which is necessary for any reasons beyond our control, especially during peak seasons or upon the occurrence of a Force Majeure, we shall not be obliged to refund any fees paid by you in respect of the unfulfilled services, but may do so, on a case-by-case basis.

c: The company reserves the right to change tour itineraries, travel arrangements, transportation, and/or hotel reservations due to unforeseen changes in transportation, member requests, conditions in the countries of travel or transit, or the occurrence of a force majeure event. Such changes may be made as deemed suitable by the company, with or without notice to the travelers. Any perceived difference in the value of the other arrangements shall not be claimed against the company. The company reserves the right to unite groups with differing flight schedules; groups from other travel groups/agencies may also be merged without notice, during such unforeseen events.

6. CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

Cancellations must be made in writing (always through an email). Cancellation charges apply as a percentage of the total holiday price, as follows.

  • More than 90 days prior to departure: 50% of the deposit is chargeable.
  • Less than 90 days prior to departure: 100% of deposit is chargeable.
  • Failure to travel without prior notification is considered no-show and the entire cost of reservation is non-refundable.
  • Once tour has started no refund will be made for any services unutilized. During the course of your holiday if you decide to cancel your holiday arrangements made by us, we will not be liable or pay you for the service you did not use.

a: Refunds for payments paid in cash or via NETS, cheque, or bank transfer will be provided by cheque and processed within 2 to 4 weeks of the cancellation date. Refunds for credit card payments will be made through the respective credit card company and will typically be received within 4 to 6 weeks of the cancellation date. The refund procedure may take longer during peak seasons due to increased transaction volume, and we will not be liable for any delays beyond the basic processing timeframes specified in this Clause.

Note-: The cancellation costs listed above only apply to tours operated by Dream Valley Pte Ltd. For tours or components supplied by third-party/parties, such as airlines, hotels, overseas land operators, cruises, trains, car rental companies, wildlife safaris etc., booked by us on behalf of the traveler, the third-party/parties’ cancellation terms and conditions shall apply, and the company will impose a minimum administrative/handling charge of $50.

b: We will not cancel your travel arrangements lesser than 60 days before your departure date, unless due to unforeseen circumstances or failure to pay the final balance.

c: If necessary, the company reserves the right to cancel any trips before the departure date for any reason, including a lack of participants. The company will make recommendations for alternative excursions, especially to related countries. If the participant decides not to accept the alternatives, he or she must notify us within five days of receiving our alternative offering, and the company will reimburse all past payments without any additional obligation.

7. FORCE MAJEURE

Due to any “Force Majeure” the company will not be liable to refund or compensate you if it affects our contractual duties, unless indicated otherwise in these Booking Conditions. Force Majeure refers to events that are beyond our or our supplier’s control and cannot be avoided even with reasonable precautions, including but not limited to an unavoidable technical problems with transport and all similar events outside our or the supplier(s) concerned control, an act of God, earthquake, fire, tsunami, floods or other natural disasters, weather conditions, diseases or pandemics, war, civil unrest or terrorist attacks, government or legislative actions, strikes and labor unrest, compulsory quarantines, travel restrictions imposed by the Singapore government or the governments of the countries you are visiting under the tour package, or any event that would render the provision of the tour package by us to you impossible or significantly different from what we planned at the time of issuing the Itinerary to you.

8. RESPONSIBILITIES AND LIABILITIES

All proper travel documentations belongings are the sole responsibility of the traveler. You must always keep your personal belongings safe and do not leave any valuables on tour buses, hotels, jeep safari or other places. In the event of such an occurrence, the Organizer will do our best to recover any lost belongings, but cannot guarantee their recovery. The Organizer will not reimburse for any lost belongings resulting from traveler’s negligence or any other reason.

a-: The company will not be responsible for any delays, theft, quarantine, customs regulations, strikes, weather hazards, injuries, illness, damages, accidents, losses, political unrest, changes in itineraries, deportation or refusal of entry by the Immigration Authorities as a result of improper travel documents, damage resulting from trip cancellation and changes, possession of illegal items, or irregularities that may occur to person or property. Once you confirm any booking with us, we strongly encouraged all the participants to buy a travel insurance on their own.

b: The company (including all members) and its agents take no responsibility for any financial loss, destructions or loss of any property, any injury, disease, damage, accident, loss, delay, death, or irregularities that may occur to individuals or property. The customers must accept all of the inherent risks of international travel and tours.

c: The company will be relieved from all responsibilities resulting from acts of terrorism, hijacking, civil disturbance, natural disasters, labor strikes, thefts, travel advisories, and any other factors beyond its control.

d: Travelers must ensure that they meet all health-related requirements for their destination. We offer general safety tips but are not responsible for any unfortunate events that may occur during the trip.

9. TRAVEL DOCUMENTS

All members of your travel group are responsible for ensuring that all passports (or other travel documents, as the case may be) of persons within your travel group are valid for at least 6 months from the expected date of departure from the last point of departure in the itinerary, and that each of such individuals possess all relevant visas, permits, passes, licenses, vaccinations, health certificates, and other documentation or approvals as may be required by the governmental authorities of the destination countries to be visited during the tour package. Each customer is responsible for ensuring that the personal information provided to the Company matches the travel documentations. In the absence of required documentation, the organizers will not be held liable for the consequences of incomplete trip procedures, including the cancellation of the reservation.

10. TRAVEL INSURANCE

All members of your travel group are responsible for ensuring that all passports (or other travel documents, as the case may be) of persons within your travel group are valid for at least 6 months from the expected date of departure from the last point of departure in the itinerary, and that each of such individuals possess all relevant visas, permits, passes, licenses, vaccinations, health certificates, and other documentation or approvals as may be required by the governmental authorities of the destination countries to be visited during the tour package. Each customer is responsible for ensuring that the personal information provided to the Company matches the travel documentations. In the absence of required documentation, the organizers will not be held liable for the consequences of incomplete trip procedures, including the cancellation of the reservation.

11. PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEOGRAPHY

The company also reserves the right to capture photographs or videos of the travelers during the tour and can utilize for company social media promotions. We also reserve the rights to use any media that the traveler shares on our website or social networking sites.

12. COMPLAINT AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION
Complaints should be reported immediately to our representative during the trip. If a resolution cannot be reached immediately, clients must file a written complaint within 7 days of returning from their vacation. We will thoroughly evaluate the complaint/claim, and the Adventurer agrees to give us with supporting evidence so that we can access and investigate the true nature of the complaint. Disputes shall be addressed through mediation or arbitration in Singapore.

Dream Valley Pte Ltd reserves the right to amend or delete terms & conditions at any point of time. The same we will update on our website. Before making any bookings which are made from other sites such as WhatsApp, Meetup, Facebook or Instagram, the travelers will be provided with a link that redirects them to our website Terms and Conditions and it is their sole responsibility to go through them. Continued usage of our services will be considered acceptance of the updated Terms and Conditions.
