Arrive at Lhasa Gonggar Airport where you will be greeted by our local tour guide. Transfer to your hotel in Lhasa for check-in and acclimatization to the high altitude. Lhasa has an elevation of about 3,600 m (11,800 ft) and lies in the center of the Tibetan Plateau with the surrounding mountains rising to 5,500 m (18,000 ft). The air only contains 68 percent of the oxygen compared to sea level. Evening visit the local market overnight stay at hotel. Lhasa is one of the highest cities in the world. The city has been the religious and administrative capital of Tibet since the mid-17th century.

After Breakfast visit to Potala Palace a symbol of Tibetan Buddhism and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, a focal point for Tibetan Buddhism and home to the Dalai Lama for many centuries. Marvel at the palace's architecture and the panoramic view of Lhasa city from the top. After that head to Jokhang Temple (1300 years old), with its sacred golden Buddha, the spiritual epicenter of Tibetan Buddhism. This is the most sacred temple in Tibet, and witness the devout pilgrims prostrating themselves in front of the temple. In the evening take a leisurely walk around Barkhor Bazar Street, a bustling market where you can buy traditional Tibetan handicrafts.

After Breakfast visit Norbulingka, the former summer palace of the Dalai Lamas, known for its beautiful gardens and rich history. After that we will take you to explore Sera Monastery, and its not far from Lhasa. This monastery is one of the great Gelugpa monasteries of Tibet, famous for its Buddhist debating sessions among monks. Afer lunch visit Drepung Monastery, once the largest monastery in the world, and learn about its significant role in Tibetan Buddhism. This monastery was founded in the fifteenth century on a mountainside. Overnight stay at hotel.

After Breakfast drive to Yamdroke Lake visit. You will pass over the Gampala pass (4790 m), where you will have a glimpse of Yamdrok-tso Lake, a lake hidden on high mountains and enjoy the stunning view of Yamdrok Lake. This is one of the three holy lakes in Tibet. Yamdrok Lake is the largest inland lake on the northern foot of Himalayas with a surface altitude of 4,441 meters. Yamdrok is reputed for its beautiful and charming scenery of pure lake, snow mountains, islands, vast pastures. Later come back to Lhasa and overnight stay at hotel.
