Continue on to the Chobe National Park in Botswana, where you will see tremendous wildlife diversity. During the winter months, large herds congregate in the Chobe floodplain. These are best appreciated on thrilling 4×4 game drives and safari boat cruises down the Chobe River. Cruise up the river in elegance, sipping on a refreshing drink while keeping an eye out for wildlife coming to drink. As the sun sinks below the horizon, it forms a ball of fire. On the first day of your Best of Victoria Falls and Chobe safari package, you can fly from Johannesburg or Cape Town directly to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. After a private road transfer to Victoria Falls Safari Lodge, you'll have time to relax and explore your surroundings. Simply wait till you see the waterhole. You can see elephants, buffaloes, kudus, waterbucks, zebras, impalas, and a variety of bird species here. It's almost as if the creatures came right to you!
The highlight of your first day will undoubtedly be the sunset cruise along the Zambezi River, which includes access to the luxury deck and your choice of sundowner while you watch the natural spectacle unfold as the light fades over the pristine terrain.

Take a picturesque trek through the tropical rainforest and stop at the "Big Tree," a large Baobab that makes for great photo opportunities. Next, visit the Vulture Culture Centre to learn more about these intriguing and frequently overlooked scavenger birds of prey.
In the afternoon, put your feet up and rest. You can also take advantage of the hourly courtesy shuttle to the Victoria Falls city centre. Perhaps visit the local craft market to bargain for the distinctive soapstone sculptures, masks, jewellery, and Batik cloth.
In the evening, you will be picked up and transported to an ethnic restaurant for a traditional Boma meal. Live traditional entertainment will be offered, resulting in an unforgettable cultural experience. Perhaps you'll be courageous enough to try a Mopane Worm.

After breakfast, depart Zimbabwe for Botswana's Chobe National Park via private road transfer. After the border crossing, take a picturesque drive into Chobe National Park. Keep an eye out for buffalo, giraffes, elephants, and a variety of other wildlife while travelling.
You will spend two nights at Chobe Marina, which provides wonderful hospitality, beautiful accommodations, and stunning river views. Enjoy a delicious lunch before relaxing and admiring the stunning views of the Chobe River.
In the late afternoon, travel along the Chobe River with a drink in hand and enjoy the African sunset. The river is home to large pods of hippos and some of Africa's largest crocodiles.

Expect a lot of adventure. Safari cruises along the Chobe River to 4x4 game drives in search of elephants (which are abundant), buffalos, lions, hyenas, and, if you're lucky, African wild dogs. The birdlife is also abundant, ranging from the common fish eagle to a variety of herons and waders. Keep your camera well charged throughout your stay, since there is always something to view around the corner. The Chobe is a wildlife lover's paradise.
There will also be time to unwind, perhaps by taking a refreshing dip in the pool or reading a nice book on the game viewing terrace.

After a good night's sleep, you'll wake up to a colorful, fresh breakfast served with a freshly brewed pot of hot coffee. Enjoy your final breakfast on the deck while taking in the views around the marina for the last time.
You will be returned to Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe, where you may catch your journey back to home. Tour ends with sweet memories.
