After a long flight, you'll be greeted with a relaxing and refreshing activity: a safari cruise. Upon your arrival at Kasane Airport, our team will be there to pick you up and transport you to your accommodation. To ensure a smooth transfer, please provide us with your flight details in advance, as the pickup time will be coordinated with your flight's arrival time. We also provide pickups from Victoria Falls town or Livingstone town. As you embark on the Chobe River cruise, you'll have the opportunity to witness aquatic wildlife, including the mighty hippopotamus, crocodiles, and a diverse array of bird species.

A full-day game drive offers you an immersive safari experience, allowing you to savor the entire safari menu of Botswana's diverse ecosystem. You'll venture deep into the heart of the wilderness, specifically the tranquil western part of Chobe National Park, where there's no congestion of vehicles or noise pollution. This location maximizes your chances of encountering a wide range of wildlife, from large to small species. Your safari commences at 6:00 am, starting with the early morning sightings of birds and other creatures, and continues until 6:00 pm, encompassing everything from the first light of dawn to the captivating African sunset. This extended adventure provides ample opportunities to observe both diurnal and nocturnal animals, ensuring a comprehensive and unforgettable wildlife experience.

You will arrive at the Planet Baobab Lodge in Gweta early in the morning. You will drive across the vast grasslands, past lonely baobab sentinels to the edge of Ntwetwe Saltpan. Along the way, your guide will explain the incredible adaptations of the species that are unique to the Kalahari Desert environment. After settling into your cozy and comfy hut, you'll take a stroll with your guide through the surrounding baobab forest, while he explains the local ecology, geology, and of course, the unique biology of the baobabs, which are in fact, not trees but, the largest succulent in the world. You will enjoy a flaming Botswana sunset with a cool drink over a campfire as your guide explains the fascinating geological origins of the Makgadikgadi. This vast saltpan desert, an area that is bigger than Switzerland, was once the largest expanse of fresh water on the planet!

You will get up close and personal with a resident gang of habituated meerkats. See how these social, superbly adapted animals interact with each other and their environment. You'll also get the chance to view the desert through the eyes of a meerkat. Despite the fact that it’s only a foot off the ground, is a pretty spectacular vantage point, and definitely one of the most special and memorable game experiences you will encounter in Botswana. You’ll explore the vast nothingness of the Makgadikgadi, a place where the vast expanses of sparkling saltpan extend as far as the eye can see. In the green season, you may be lucky enough to see the zebras and wildebeests of Africa’s second-largest migration. After the Meerkats you will be transferred to Cresta Maun Lodge and you will do a helicopter scenic tour over Okavango Delta.

You will do the Mukoro full-day adventure. The activity will allow an up-close opportunity to learn more about the culture and animals that live along the delta waters. You will do the tour on a dug-out canoe. The activity enhances the support of the community, as people in the surrounding areas provide this service. The transfer pickup time is at 7:00 a.m. and the expected time of arrival is 5:00 p.m.

After morning breakfast at 08:30 am guests will prepare to check-out from the hotel at 10:00 am, an airport transfer will be arranging so that guests will go to the airport on time for their flights either to Johannesburg, Cape Town or Kasane. Tour ends with sweet memories.
Please note Comfortable sneakers/sandals/walking shoes for walking the Victoria Falls rainforest game activities etc. Flip-flops or similar for around the pool/hotel and even on some Activities Good wide-brimmed hat and/or cap. Shorts/cut-offs for daytime wear Sleeveless cotton shirts/ T-shirts for daytime wear. Easily breathable fabrics are more comfortable in a hot climate.
Earth-toned clothing, if you are going on safari. Jeans, pants or trousers and cotton long sleeve shirts for evenings, as this is good prevention against mosquitoes.
